Yesterday was the official one month mark for my upcoming Disney World trip and I thought to myself, hey, I should watch some movies to prep for my trip. And then I thought, I wonder if there's a good list of movies for each park? I found a couple, but none that I thought were really an in-depth breakdown.
Now, I work full-time and try to do regular grownup things like eat and sleep, so I don't think I have quite enough time to watch every park-related movie before the 19th. So, since I've got thirty days and four parks (sorry resorts, water parks, and Downtown/Springs, I'm not even going to bother) I've put together the top seven movies (or shorts) you MUST watch for each park before your Disney World trip. Want my all-inclusive list? I've got that too! I'll start today with Magic Kingdom, but check back for the full list!

Cinderella - Obviously if you're going to Magic Kingdom, the crown jewel of the entire park is Cinderella's Castle. This is, without a doubt, the #1 must watch movie regardless of when you go. Plus it is just so pretty!

The Little Mermaid - With Magic Kingdom you have to throw in a couple of princess movies, and with the new Voyage of the Little Mermaid this movie is perfect. And I know, I know, it should probably be Beauty & the Beast, but we can count them over at DHS!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh - I love Winnie the Pooh (and maybe someday am planning a themed nursery?) so I'd recommend you watch even if you weren't going, but with the ride and the lovable characters, it is a great fit for kids of all ages. Also how adorable was this topiary from the 2012 International Flower & Garden Festival in Epcot?

Alice in Wonderland - Although I will be honest this movie is not one of my favorites, the Mad Tea Party is one of my all-time favorite rides. The first time I rode Space Mountain, which was the first roller coaster I'd allowed myself to be convinced to ride, I had to ride the teacups about four times in a row to recover.

Monsters Inc. - Tomorrowland was a tough one for me, who do you highlight; Buzz Lightyear, Stitch, or Sully? Buzz we can definitely get over at DHS, and I'm counting Lilo & Stitch as my "American" movie for Epcot, so for MK we'll watch Monsters Inc.
Pirates of the Caribbean -
Pirates of the Caribbean -
Have plenty of time before your next trip? Here's a breakdown of every relevant movie I could think of including, whether for character meet & greets, rides, shops, restaurants, or just general atmosphere. I tried to link up the shorts on Youtube so you can check those out. You'll note that some repeat between lands, but I figured better to have too many than too few!
